Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) (FREC3) covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid, and is the leading qualification for events cover. For those with further ambitions, it also forms the first step towards a career in prehospital care. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, ideal for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder. Among the first to arrive at a scene, first responders typically include police officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at festivals and events such as Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives and Security Guards as well as those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing. Overview This informative, hands-on course fulfils the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at level D, providing the practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) covers: administration of emergency oxygen, management of trauma patients, major illnesses and much more. Assessment Methods 6 x practical assessments/skills tests 3 x theory assessments (multiple choice question papers) 1 x invigilated exam. Certification Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) Certificate. On successful completion of this course, all applicants will be offered ADHOC/Self employed positions within our award winning Event Medical team!

Cancellation Policy

At Western Medical Services, we understand that circumstances may arise which require clients to cancel or reschedule training courses. We aim to be as flexible and fair as possible, while ensuring the sustainability of our training services. 1. Cancellation by the Client • More than 14 days’ notice: Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the scheduled training date will receive a full refund or may opt to reschedule the training at no additional cost. • 7 to 14 days’ notice: Cancellations made between 7 and 14 calendar days prior to the training date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Alternatively, clients may reschedule once free of charge. • Less than 7 days’ notice: Cancellations made with less than 7 calendar days’ notice are non-refundable. Rescheduling may be possible at the discretion of Western Medical Services and may incur an additional charge. • Non-attendance: If delegates fail to attend without prior notice, the full course fee will be charged and no refund or reschedule will be offered. 2. Substitution of Delegates Clients may substitute delegates at any time prior to the start of the training. Please notify us in writing of any changes to attendee names or details. 3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Western Medical Services In the unlikely event that Western Medical Services must cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, extreme weather, low enrolment), clients will be offered: • A full refund, or • The option to reschedule to an alternative date at no additional cost. We will provide as much notice as possible and will not be liable for any other costs incurred (e.g., travel or accommodation). 4. How to Cancel All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made in writing and sent to training@westernmedicalservices.co.uk. The date the email is received will be used to determine any applicable cancellation fee.
